I use monit in my senior project for check system resource and process then i know monit use some values to monitor system and process such as CPU [system,user,wait] memory etc. but i don't know .... 1.what is the source of resource value ? (i guess from device sensor. is that right ?) 2.how can monit receive that value ? (which part of program do this ,coding, algorithm ?) 3.i try to compare resource value usage from monit and another system monitor program such as top htop and system monitor. All of this are given (a little)difference value why ? 4. which program that i can use to referrece resource value usage with monit for make sure it give true value ?
