Trivia question time.... What is the history behind the name "monit"? I've always thought of it as a play on the phrase "I'm on it", which colloquially can sound a lot like "monit" (at least in the US) and would apply particularly to monit because it can take different actions based on events. Or is it simply short for "monitor" or even "monitor it"?
