Is it possible to use monit to monitor a program, and start and stop it but
not have monit start the program if its not running?

I would basically like to have 10 services, but only use 1 at a time, and
would like to be able to start and stop them as needed, but I dont want
monit to start them all when the system boots. Is there a way to do this?
I skimmed the manual and didnt see anything other than possibly passive
mode but I am not sure if this is what I need.

Thanks
