defne mmonit groups in monitrc?

sorry if this has already been covered.  I've read quite a bit of the 
mmonit documentation but i'm not seeing anyway to have a node tell 
mmonit it is in a server group.

is it possible to do?  something like:
"set mmonit http://monit:monit@192.168.1.10:8080/collector
   mmonit-group apache_servers"

in the end what I am trying to do is simply avoid manually adding and 
managing groups from the mmonit gui.
