Hi,

the monit-side exec action allows to repeat the script execution in the case 
that the error persists (so the dummy.sh script from your example will be 
executed again), but it won't send new event to M/Monit (that is send on state 
change only).

M/Monit-side rules has currently the repetition only for mail and instant 
messages - if you use the Slack integration and need to add the program 
repetition, we can try to add it to the next M/Monit release.
