Did you follow the documentation located at
https://mmonit.com/documentation/mmonit_manual.pdf page 83+   ?

Mostly you forgot to configure the connector at least :

<Connector port="8080" proxyScheme="https" proxyName="proxy.address"
proxyPort="443" ... />
