I recently (today) installed monitorix. I like it. My motherboard doesn't have any sensors supported by lmsensors, so I can't get temperature information, but hddtemp _does_ work.
It seems I can't enable hddtemp without enable sensors, and when I do that (even with SENSORS_LIST empty) I get cron errors about "sensors" having nothing to detect. Looking at monitorix.pl the for loop that contains the hddtemp check in contained within an "if(scalar(%SENSORS_LIST))" statement. I commented out a large chunk of code in monitorix.pl to disable the lmsensors checks, but left in the hddtemp stuff. I'd love to have these two elements be separate so that I can do this with the .conf file instead. I hope that was clear.
