Mod_mono's AutoHosting feature is using only one mod-mono-server instance: http://mono-project.com/AutoHosting I don't know if mod_mono could be forced to use one instance if AutoHosting is disabled and/or applications are configured manually. Try to define the apps at global scope (outside virtual host elements).
