EDIT: Above I say "I've spent a little time reviewing the
code and it seems that no code between session.FlushMode and trans.Commit() in
the above snippet could set session to null. " which should say between
session.FlushMode and AfterTransactionCompletion(true), not trans.Commit()
I don't see a way to edit my original report so I appended this to clarify.
