Miguel, this patch causes a regression. The test for bug #81067
(gert/standalone/bug81067) started failing after this chang.
Jerome, can you look into this? Also, do you know of a (public) FTP server that
we can test your patch against (where FTP would fail because your patch, and
success after it has been applied)?
Miguel, can you revert the patch?
