As soon as the linker encounters a mixed mode assembly it bails out completely.
According to my understanding (and jb on #mono) it should just skip that
assembly or at least offer an option to ignore unsupported assemblies
silently/with a warning at most. This happens with both
-c link
and
-c copy
parameters specified.
