Apache error log and test application
Hi,
When using object remoting under apache/mod_mono with http channel / soap
formatting:
=================================================================
Got a SIGSEGV while executing native code. This usually indicates
a fatal error in the mono runtime or one of the native libraries
used by your application.
=================================================================
The full apache errlog is included in attachment.
Steps to reproduce: (by using BoutDuTunnel, a network tunneling software which
uses remoting -included in the attachment-)
- Use the OpenSuse 10.3 / Mono 1.9.1 virtual image provided by novell
- Deploy the "BdtWebServer" WebApp. The base url must be
http://localhost/BdtWebServer/ (important)
- "chmod -R 777" the BdtWebServer directory: for testing purpose only, a log
will be created inside
- Then run the BdtClient assembly, it will connect to the WebApp
- Launch Firefox, and setup it to use the local socks proxy (v4), port 1080, to
connect to internet
- Start browsing the web, after few seconds mod_mono will hang and restart.
Please note that if the same remoted object is not hosted in apache/mod_mono
but with a simple console application (try BdtServer...), all works fine.
Regards.
