Summary: drop http access from anonymous svn
Product: Mono Tasks
Version: ongoing
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Build
AssignedTo: [email protected]

The svn protocol does much better, and http consumes a lot of bandwidth.
Some other ideas... why do we have anonsvn.mono-project.com in the first place?
Why not just provide read only access from mono-cvs over the svn protocol?
Or, have viewcvs on anonsvn.mono-project.com?
But, it would also help to provide readonly anonymous access over svn:: if only
to help out monobuild so it bypasses the ssh overhead, and also doesn't have to
deal with the 30 minute delay.
That way monobuild could run from a read-only checked out tree and we wouldn't
have to worry about checking in as 'builder'.
