Also there is similar prog than kdesu for gnome, i thing gtksu or something like this. So without wrapper of API, but simply in the start process code , kdesu -c Process.filename + process.argument -u process.user .. As it a pop for entering the root password is displayed, but this is the way of a lot root tool, like pkg manager, network config .........
