The problem is most likely caused by the fact that the libgdi+ in the generic linux installer is compiled against the SLES 9 libs, which are very old compared to the libs that are available on the latest Ubuntu. That is causing some incompatibility. However, if Mono is compiled specifically for Ubuntu, it will probably work fine. You should try the Ubuntu packages here and see if they work better for you: http://www.mono-project.com/Other_Downloads#Ubuntu Or, alternatively, you could compile Mono yourself. Here are the instructions on how to do that: http://www.mono-project.com/Compiling_Mono -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug. _______________________________________________ mono-bugs maillist - [email protected] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/mono-bugs
