Minimum sample application

Description of Problem:
The StatusStrip control visually shows a sizing grip in the lower right corner
(when hovering over it, a diagonal resizing cursor is shown), however it
actually can't resize the window when dragging it (move cursor over the sizing
grip, click and hold left mouse button, move mouse).

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Run the attached ResizeTest.exe file in Mono ("mono ResizeTest.exe").
2. Try to resize the window using the sizing grip of the status bar.

Actual Results:
Visually a diagonal cursor is shown, but the window isn't resized when
clicking, holding and moving the mouse.

Expected Results:
The window should be resized.

How often does this happen?
Always.

Additional Information:
A minimum sample application is in the attachments.
