http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=574148#c0 Summary: Look ma, no breakpoints in Windows Forms applications. Classification: Mono Product: Mono: Tools Version: MonoVS 1.0.x Platform: i686 OS/Version: Windows XP Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Visual Studio Integration AssignedTo: [email protected] ReportedBy: [email protected] QAContact: [email protected] Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.15) Gecko/2009102704 Fedora/3.0.15-1.fc10 Firefox/3.0.15 I can't seem to set a breakpoint in a Windows Forms application when using the VirtualPC image that I downloaded from Novell. I had originally downloaded the VirtualPC image because I could not inspect the value of variables when I ran an app on Fedora 12 (however it did allow me to set a breakpoint on the main form only). Once I can set a breakpoint in your VPC image then I will try to see if I can see the value of variables in VS while using your product. For the time being, I am focusing on the breakpoint issue. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. build a simple Windows Forms app, no additional code required 2. set a breakpoint in the ctor of the form 3. Actual Results: The app just runs Expected Results: the breakpoint should have halted execution in the ctor of the form. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug. _______________________________________________ mono-bugs maillist - [email protected] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/mono-bugs
