http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=574235#c0 Summary: Values do not allow null Classification: Mono Product: MonoTouch Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Class Libraries AssignedTo: [email protected] ReportedBy: [email protected] QAContact: [email protected] Found By: --- Blocker: --- Description of Problem: Most of the class properties in UIKit classes do not allow null as value. This is also true for method parameters. You should recheck this because a lot of things must be set to null to achive a desired behaviour. 2 points where I found no workaround: a.) UITableviewCell - property AccessoryView b.) NavigationBar - property TintColor 1 point where I could build a workaround a.) NavigationItem - property TitleView Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Create an instance of one of the above classes 2. Try to set the property to null Actual Results: An exception "argument null not allowed" is thrown Expected Results: The property should be set to null How often does this happen? Allways Additional Information: Setting such properties to null activates (reactivates) default behaviours. In the current situation when such a property is set you have no way to come back to the default behaviour.
