http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=506122#c4 --- Comment #4 from Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]> 2010-01-28 02:34:01 UTC --- Hmm, from reading bug #502115 *I* never considered the behavior as buggy. All I did with related to that bug was 1) I didn't understand what the original bug reporter meant, 2) haven't really examined the entire report as I have been busy on working on other stuff (WCF), and 3) a patch was given and I was urged to apply it as there was no other maintainers. That is, I didn't really have time to read the specification to confirm this as a bug. Yesterday I have read the specification and thought that the attribute declaration in the derived class does not violate any of the condition stated at Schema Component Constraint: Derivation Valid (Extension) section. Now I read again and I didn't find any corresponding constraints. But it could be of misinterpretation. Especially since you explicitly agreed (not with me but) to the idea that it is likely .NET issue at that time, you might have in-depth understanding on this issue. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug. _______________________________________________ mono-bugs maillist - [email protected] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/mono-bugs
