Summary: Compiler claims extension methods not found, really
                    needs to say 'add System.Core'
    Classification: Mono
           Product: Mono: Compilers
           Version: 2.4.x
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Ubuntu
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Minor
          Priority: P5 - None
         Component: C#

Gecko/20100212 Ubuntu/10.04 (lucid) Firefox/3.6

Instead of telling me to add System.Core (MonoDevelop ought to do this by
default if the target is .Net 3.5, by the way), the compiler just tells me it
cannot find extension methods I add from other assemblies. Was very confusing
to figure out the source of this message.

Reproducible: Always
