http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=614903#c0 Summary: App built with 1.5 got rejected, no better result with 2.0.6 Classification: Mono Product: MonoTouch Version: unspecified Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.6 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Tools AssignedTo: [email protected] ReportedBy: [email protected] QAContact: [email protected] Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; de; rv:1.9.1.9) Gecko/20100315 Firefox/3.5.9 An Application built with MT 1.5 (and the corresponding MD version) got rejected with the following message: "At this time, [app] cannot be posted to the App Store because it is failing to launch on iPhone 3GS running iOS 4.0 and iPod touch running iPhone OS 3.1.3 and Mac OS X 10.6.2. The application opens, displays a launch image, and then quits unexpectedly." is this normal? (The previous version of this app built with the same toolchain, wasn't rejected, but that was before iOS 4) When I try to recompile the app with MT 2.0.6.6731 and MD + 2.2.2+r158365 (both marked as the newest stable). I get following message: objc[4680]: found old-ABI metadata in image [..] and the app shows exactly the behaviour that was described by the reviewer. I'm not quite sure if this qualifies as a bug, but something is cleary wrong.
