https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=648173#c0 Summary: Debugging iPhone apps in simulator hangs simulator and MonoDevelop Classification: Mono Product: MonoTouch Version: unspecified Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.6 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Debugger AssignedTo: [email protected] ReportedBy: [email protected] QAContact: [email protected] Found By: --- Blocker: --- Description of Problem: I am having a really hard time debugging any iphone app using Monotouch 3.1.3, MonoDevelop 2.4-beta, and iOS 4.1 SDK. I set a breakpoint, debug the app with the iphone simulator, use the app to get to the point where the breakpoint should pause the app and the app hangs on the simulator and hangs MonoDevelop. The last console output on Monodevelop is "Thread started". If I put a breakpoint at the very beginning of the app in Main.cs, it works fine, but anything farther into the app execution, it will always hang. I usually have to force quit MonoDevelop or reboot my entire mac. Please help with any suggestions as not being able to debug is killing my productivity. How often does this happen? Everytime I try to hit a breakpoint other than the main app class called Main.cs. Additional Information: I think it might be the beta version of monodevelop as I think it was fine before I upgraded. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug.
