https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=674702#c0 Summary: Softdebugger missing features/questions Classification: Mono Product: Mono: Runtime Version: 2.10.x Platform: x86 OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: debug AssignedTo: [email protected] ReportedBy: [email protected] QAContact: [email protected] Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; FDM) This is not a bug of course. I miss some debugger features which are available on windows debugger. (Or i'm too blind to see a solution). Here's a list of what i'm missing: 1) Is there a way to get the programming language for the sourcefile of a loaded module ? (Windows debugger manages this via a language Guid) 2) Is there a way to attach to a running managed process (not remote debugging) ? 3) Is there a way to get the handled/unhandled state of an thrown exception ? 4) Is there a way to get the AppDomain in which an exception was thrown ? 5) Where goes System.Diagnostics.Debug.WriteLine to the debugger ? 6) It seems that the AssemblyUnloadEvent doesn't function ? 7) Is there a way to put the Debuggee Window in front or the Debugger Window in front ? Any hints would be appreciated. Thanks.
