https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=828584#c0 Summary: Add Retina Display support to Windows.Forms Classification: Mono Product: Mono: Class Libraries Version: 2.10.x Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.6 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Windows.Forms AssignedTo: [email protected] ReportedBy: [email protected] QAContact: [email protected] Found By: Third Party Developer/Partner Blocker: No Description of Problem: The windows created by Windows.Forms appear pixelated on Retina Display MacBooks. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. With a Retina Display MacBook 2. Open any Winforms application. Actual Results: Pixelated windows, and pixelated controls. Expected Results: I don't expect Winform-painted controls to be Retina. But the window border is drawn and textured by OS X's WindowServer. Making it high resolution is a simple change, and easily fixable. Other toolkits that paint their own widgets (like Qt) have adjusted to this. How often does this happen? For every Windows Form, every time. I've tested on OS X 10.7 and 10.8. Additional Information: Please fix, this causes well-designed Winforms applications to appear pixelated and alien. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug.
