A type doesn't necessarily have to have a TypeConverterAttribute attached. There is a table of predefined converters in TypeDescriptor that it always falls back to. In addition TypeConverters can be fed via TypeDescriptionProvider-s added to the TypeDescriptor. -- Kind Regards, Ivan N.
