Hi Preeti, I was just pointing out that using an asynchronous api is one thing, implementing it is another story. But it was just a word of warning; if you feel comfortable with the project, go for it!
And don't worry, I'm not trying to take the proposal "away from you": I'm not taking part to gsoc! I'm a professional dev who uses a lot of oss sw and wants to give something back. If you follow mono, you know there is a need in this area originated from the release of the asp stack from ms. My expertise is in that area, and I wish to start to contribute. Mono is much more than gsoc, u know ;-) Best On Apr 9, 2012 9:40 AM, "preetimandle" <ppreet...@gmail.com> wrote: > Hi Lorenzo Dematte, > > I knows ASP.NET 4.5 Async Stack, i did of lots of project in asp.net, i am > able to do async progamming using C#. > > As i read your mail, in which i found you are employed in a software > company. > if you Saw GSOC 2012's T&C, only students can submit proposal. > What ever you written in previous mail is not right way, mentors of Mono > Team are eligible to comment.. > > > Regards > Preeti Mandle > > -- > View this message in context: > http://mono.1490590.n4.nabble.com/GSOC-2012-Questions-regarding-ASP-NET-4-5-Async-Stack-tp4531526p4542276.html > Sent from the Mono - Dev mailing list archive at Nabble.com. > _______________________________________________ > Mono-devel-list mailing list > Mono-devel-list@lists.ximian.com > http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/mono-devel-list >
