It's not that no one cares... Anyway, I just tried your patch, but bookmarks seem to be totally broken anyway. They don't always take me to the page I bookmarked, and they sometimes crash the browser. It looks like a more comprehensive fix is needed.
Actually, and no disrespect to Miguel, rather than patching monodoc, I'm inclined to suggest a complete rewrite of monodoc, based on Gecko#, integrating a reflection/Cecil-based object browser, etc. As people have said, it's getting more difficult to fix monodoc issues.
