that would be nice anyway, but at now we are testing the version 5.8.0 from the mono-project repository. Version 4.2.4 has the additional problem that we had to adjust the kernel parameter /proc/sys/vm/max_map_count from 65530 to 655330 and we don't know of side effects to other applications. BTW our user needs mono to run the scientific biochem CLI application MaxQuant.
