Well this plug-in IS very odd...

You have to create a empty project (folder), and then you add C# files using File/New/Other... that opens a Dialog with a tree containing a C# node, that gives just a 'C# File' option, that brings a two-step wizard.

You create individual files in that way and then you can compile each of them, individually, but it is nowhere like a true C# IDE. And all the goods you have for Java in Eclipse aren't available for C#.

In truth, Eclipse with that plugin is just an oversized syntax-coloring editor, for C#/.Net programming. If you can run Emacs or Vi in OSX, they are lighter/speedier and have decent support for C# (see this list archives, for C# plugins for those editors).

For Java programming Eclipse is quite an impressive tool, although.
