time. Please read that, because it contains lots of background
information.
Now, given:
a. That the ECMA core patents have been granted to the public.
b. That Mono implements plenty of non-Microsoft assemblies.
c. That the Microsoft assemblies which are not part of .NET
are implementations of well known technologies.
People's opinions on this is that you are fine.
