This depends on some thinks:
If You did not use p/invoke to library's that are not supported on both O.S. (M$ and Linux)
Other think that you must to know it is that mono is under heavy development ant it is not stable, and completed. For example, System.Windows.Forms is not completed, and if you use this sets of widgets, may be does not work.
