I'm sorry for this off-topic, but I would suggest to configure the mailman of these lists with "Show member addrs so they're not directly recognisable as email addrs?" (Privacy Options) set to Yes.
I totally agree.
In the last few days, I found that someone was using my email address in the "From" field to send a virus. This also happened to other people in the list. I'm sure that this kind of measures aren't enaugh to stop spam and other related problems, but at least is something.
