Trying to compile mono's mscorlib.dll however is a completely different experience. Exceptions from Mono.CSharp.RootContext.BootCorlib_PopulateCoreTypes decendands all over the place.
How about running the newly compiled mcs.exe against PNET's corlib to compile Mono's?
