[Mono-list] Ximian Desktop not downloading Mono

I’ve never heard anyone else complain about this problem:   I just downloaded the Ximian Desktop and installed it.  I went to the channel packager thingy and found Mono.  But all the download buttons are grayed out.  I did not buy the priority bandwidth mirror account.  Do I need it?  Is there a free way to use it?   Thanks, Andrew
