First of all, thank you for providing the Fedora Core 2 yum repository of Mono 1.0 Beta2. Great job!
I'm still seeing the > Resolving dependencies > ......Unable to satisfy dependencies > Package winelib needs wine >= 20040505, this is not available. error while trying to install Mono 1.0 Beta2 on my Fedora Core 2 machine using the yum repository at http://www.go-mono.com/archive/yum-repository/fedora-2-i386/. As a result I cannot install these packages (everything else installed fine, and I can run MonoDevelop :) ): bytefx-data-mysql mono-data-postgresql mono-winforms wine wine-devel winelib Yum reports the version of wine in the repository as 0.20040505-1.rhfc2.nr. Maybe it's the extra "0." before the "20040505-1.rhfc2.nr" that's throwing yum off. The repository for FC1 does not have this problem. On a related note, what are the mono-complete and mono-complete-devel packages? Just by looking at the name, I assume they are combination packages that can be installed in lieu of some other package. Am I right? Also, what is the extent to which the mysql and postgresql connectors are dependent on Wine? I can live without Wine and WinForms fine, but I can't live without database support. -- Weiqi Gao (éäå) [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.weiqigao.com/blog/ _______________________________________________ Mono-list maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/mono-list
