Hi   I sorted the problem out... Maybe this is something the developers want to have a look at: when you create a new project the Add References option is not immediately available in the Project View tab unless you first attempt to add a folder to your project.   Also, is there any way I could set the IDE so that new projects have default references to frequently used System assembles?   Thanks   -zj
