[Mono-list] Mono Develop Error

I am getting the following erro message when trying to run monodevelop from 
console on Red Hat 9.

Unhandled Exception: System.NullReferenceException: A null value was found 
where an object instance was required.

I have tried uninstalling and updating Gtk# installation, but that still 
doesn't seem to do the trick.  Does anyone have any ideas?
