Hi.
I really want to start using mono and gtk# for my next commercial project (it's not big, but would be nice to have both Linux and Windows in the boat though)...
Now the questions...
1) For end-users I have to include some kind of installer. For Windows this would be NSIS (Nullsoft Install System). Can I somehow include a mono-runtime installation with gtk for windows in my installation process?
In other words: Can I install mono and gtk without the need for the user to start the setups by himself?
2) What's the best way to deploy mono and gtk# on a Linux box. Let's say SuSE or Fedora Core (2/3)? In an automated manner. I'm talking of end-users who are completly "new" to linux or computers at all. In the end it should be EASY to get the software up and running...
Any ideas?
Btw. This combined Windows Installer (Mono, Gtk# , ...) is excellent!
