I'll be glad to incorporate RDF into my project. I have all 150 legislators in the database now. I'm going to add the committee assignments and then add a feature that lets users who are registered and approved email them in groups or individually. For example, if a bill you support is going to be considered by a committee, you can email the entire committee or an individual member. The official web site has their emails, but no way to send them email without copying each email address into an email client program. I need to get it done by January, because that's when the next political cycle begins here.

Have you thought about (or would you consider) taking the information you've already put together and making it available in RDF [1]? (Admittedly the practical usefulness now of turning it into RDF is minimal, but the more RDF data there is, the sooner we'll be able to write useful semantic web apps taking advantage of knowledge throughout the Internet.)
