Many thanks. The channel offering mono appears now to be called GNOME. On my installation at home, the channels are things like mono-1.1-official.
So, in short, I'd not subscribed to the GNOME channel and therefore couldn't find Mono. When I subscribed to GNOME, I could find mono and it's all successfully installed now. By the way, lots of mono packages are listed, but it appears that only mono-core is needed to get all the rest (mono-data, windows forms etc etc). Is that right? When I tried to install all the offered packages the transaction failed, but when I just installed mono-core everything seemed to go OK and it looks as though the stuff I need is all there. Do you know if there is anything other than mono-core that needs to be installed? Cheers Peter -----Original Message----- From: Francisco T.
