Robert (et al), You are absolutely right: and I am delighted.
I'm not sure what had happened with Red Carpet. I re-subscribed to the mono 1.1 channel and tried to get mod_mono 1.1.13 without success, but when I then removed the old version of mod_mono and tried again, it offered me 1.1.13.0. It skipped xsp 1.1.13 (something about invalid arch or some such), but installed mod_mono. I then followed the instructions and everything works just fine. O me of little faith! Thanks to you and the other members of the list for all your help and patience. FWIW you'll all get an honourable mention in the finished dissertation :) Cheers Peter -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Robert Jordan Sent: 27 February 2006 20:49 To: [email protected] Subject: [Mono-list] Re: Configuring Apache for mono Bradley, > This doesn't seem to be the problem unless I'm missing something. If Red Carpet doesn't provide the latest version (1.1.13), you have to compile mod_mono from sources: http://go-mono.com/sources/ > > So this all looks OK to me. > > I've got an absolutely bog standard out-of-the-box setup, so I confess > to getting a little frustrated.
