 You are just stating the obvious. That is why I had specifically asked about 
the official position of mono team with regard to phalanger. As far as the 
runtime is concerned, Phalanger is not an 'application', but rather a series of 
instructions to be executed. :-)

 OK, so I will rephrase my question to: whether someone in this list 'probably 
wants' phalanger and is interested in making changes like the way it was done 
for IronPython.
