All told, however, this kind of thing is probably more useful on Windows or other platforms without good package management support, since the Linux distributions I know of that support Mono already do a good job of managing Mono-dependent applications and libraries as discrete packages. Wouldnt it be great, to have kindof like a mono suite (yeah i know what you are thinking. "got it already") but i was more thinking in the lines of say using that nifty installer and instead of it just installing the mono development tools, it installed like the larger utillities aswell.
like f-spot, banshee, muine, beagle etc..
