Oh, theres not. I just started there because it seemed like the easiest thing 
start with, since Socket did all the work.

Any ideas for what in Mono I can work on that hasn't had dibs called?

Thanks.  However, I've already implemented this and am just testing all
the 2.0 Socket-related changes before I check it in.  I'll review your
patch and make sure there's nothing there I've missed though.
