Hi, I posted on this a while back saying that the instructions on the installation source for Mono on SuSE Linux 10.0 on this page:
http://go-mono.com/download-stable/suse-100-x86_64 appeared to be incorrect, but got no response. Since then I've tried the following installation source: http://software.opensuse.org/download/Mono/SUSE_Linux_10.0/ This source added to YaST just fine, but Mono will still not install. Despite adding this installation source, and even though the Mono version offered is 1.2.4-17.1, the installation fails because the only version of mono-basic that is available is verion 1.1.8.3-6. This seems odd, but since I don't intend to program in basic, can I ignore it, "Risking system inconnsistencies" as YaST puts it? Or will Mono not work without it? Thanks Peter _______________________________________________ Mono-list maillist - [email protected] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/mono-list
