where Icons in SVG are translatet to Silverlight.

At the moment KDE (especialy 4.0) and GNOME are moving forward to use as 
most SVG as possible. KDE 4.0 for example have only SVG-icons - no longer 
pixel-icons like *.png, *gif or *.jpg.

But is SVG not from the functionality a subset of Silverlight ?
Then it would be a thought, if it is possible, to integrate in GNOME 
Silverlight-icons for the desktop.
And creating a fork of Inkscape, which saves to Silverlight-files and 
supports the additional functionalities, which SVG not have.
