While going through all the suggestions I have received yesterday, it began
clear that I had forgot to mention a few details.
One, my openSUSE installation is in text mode (no KDE no GNOME).
Two, I am on a 56K link (don't get me started on that...).
So I have connected this box to the internet via my proxy. Added mono site to
yast. And after a few hours, finally got mod_mono working in Apache. (Version
1.2.6 of course). Much easier this way....instead of trying to run each and
every RPM files via command line....
So I meant to thank you all for the help, much appreciated.
