Hi, We have been installing mono-1.2.4-6 from the .bin package for quite some time on various distributions but generally on ubuntu 7.10 with no problems. We have recently run in to an intermittent problem where the installer fails to run or even start, see the snippet below.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/Desktop$ ./mono-1.2.4_6-installer.bin [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/Desktop$ We are using a fresh install of ubuntu 7.10 with all updates on a vmware virtual machine version 1.0.3 with vmware tools installed. However we have the same issue with a physical machine an IBM Ienovo T61p. Does anyone have any ideas why this may be happening? Many Thanks, James Park-Watt
