I run Mono on openSUSE, with no problems [other then those I create myself]. I'd expect the same level of goodness with any of the *mainstream* distros, and that would certainly include Fedora. However - there doesn't seem to be downloads at <http://www.go-mono.com/mono-downloads/download.html> for Fedora. Why not just grab the openSUSE VMware image from the download site if your primary goal is to check out mono? (Assuming that is your primary goal).
