Please forgive my ignorance (I know very little about Mono and .Net) and
be so kind to elaborate a bit more. Why is there no SMO support in
mono? Is it because no one has done it? Or is it because it cannot be
done? Has anyone looked into it at all? What are the challenges? Is
it a matter of reverse engineering? Are there any legal issues? Is
there no demand for it?

Thanks,
kmt
